About Me

What Yoga means to me…

My yoga journey started in 2002 when I was 20 years old living in Perth West Australia. I took a 6-week Ashtanga Yoga course at the Cottesloe Surf Centre and that was when I fell in love with yoga.

In 2013 I completed a 100 hr Creative Vinyasa Teacher Training programme in California, with Janet Stone. I was then inspired to teach yoga. I then completed a further 200-hour certification, in Vinyasa Flow at the Yoga Space in Leeds in 2019. Teaching has now become my passion and I find yoga brings me confidence and a sense of inner peace. I love music so I try to incorporate music with all my classes. I mainly teach Vinyasa infused with Ashtanga, with an emphasis on the elements. My style of teaching is dynamic, strong, and fluid. I teach from my heart, with a focus on the breath. I help people to tune into their innate inner wisdom through yoga and meditation, re-aligning the body, mind, and soul through their practice. I am inspired by teachers such as Stephanie Snyder, Shiva Rea, Janet Stone, and Nichi Green.

“Yoga does not transform the way we see things, it transforms the person who sees.”

“When you listen to yourself, everything comes naturally. It comes from inside, like a kind of will to do something. Try to be sensitive. That is yoga.
